Gradient applied to background, Flood for reflection. We've had either pouring down rain or bright cloudless skies, neither any good for avian photography, so I've been playing around with PS.

Bill, I like the crop and the colors very much. The flood looks well done. Beautiful perch and stare. The gradient BG is a nice touch.

Hi Bill, Very nice details and like the diagonal comp. The gradient BG is nice, but I find the white area at the top has a tendency to draw my eye. Might want to try a more subtle gradient that doesn't go quite as light. Just my opinion, of course.
