These are the same two acorns that were in my recent post in the macro forum, just closer up. For this tritone, I wanted a deep, rich sepia tone. Any C&C are welcome!

I like the color tones and the vignette. I feel that the one vein up top is very close to the edge. I like the composition.

amazing textures coming through here. love the tone and detail. IMO it would have been slightly stronger if the veins were coming out of the top corner. :)

I was thinking the same thing as Morkel...those veins coming out and down from the corner would have been nice. The tritone is GORGEOUS, though...wow. You might also consider dodging a few small areas on the acorn that are already the lighter tones just to make the image have another layer of tone.
