For the first time in a long time I went to Green Cay. There was not very much action except for this lone wood stork that landed near me. The sky was a turbulent sky and with the setting sun adding the pastel colors to the sky I could not resist taking a picture.

I like the light, look-back pose and particularly the pastel-colored BG. Could you have moved a bit to your right to show both feet?

Good HA Judy, and I really like the soft light and colours. Clouds always add so much to the BG skies.

Ditto Stu, Judy. Good HA and the lovely sky colors add a nice touch. Lovely details in the whites.

I love the sky and the eye contact. Lovely soft light. I may go back on the sharpening of the face. The face is not exactly the most handsome part of this bird ;) so going back a little on the creases will minimize that.

Love the bird, the light, and the clouds but not the cut off perch or the bird's position on the perch with the feet hidden.

Thanks for the comments everyone and I agree Artie that the snag and the hidden feet is not the best composition and I appreciated your time in commenting. Thanks !
