Kaustubh, The early morning light had a very warm color tones that I chose to leave in. Thankyou for your comments. I appreciate them.

Nice low angle, sharpness, and HA. I could consider a version with a minor hit of fill flash, but that might throw the mood off completely. Well done.

I like the angle, setting, wide crop and head angle. The catchlight looks somewhat odd, did you add it? I'm wondering since the light seems to come from the left. If so, I would try to lighten the eye and put the catchlight further to the left.

Hi Denise, you are so fortunate to be so close to the sea and capture these wonderful shore birds. Im jealous. The Sanderling is sharp, good detail, and just love the overall colours. Great DOF too. Well captured.

Like it for all the reasons above. Would loved to have had the bird up on a rock so that we could see the feet.

Denise, you missed Axel's question above. (I had the same question.) I believe that this is a first winter bird.

I didn't miss the question-I forgot to answer it. Sorry:) I did a re-post then guess I didn't remember.

Axel and Artie, When I blew up the image there was a hint of light at that spot in the eye so that is where I added a catchlight
