Incredible timing and nice light Jim. Fine detail on the wings seems a bit lacking on my laptop, but that's easily overcome by the lighting. Is this a large crop?
Cape May?
Fantastic as always, Jim. Light, sharpness, action, IQ all great. No recommendations here, except to keep up the inspiring work.
Gotta love this shot. Great action and sharp eye. Well done.
Amazing angle you captured this one at ,gives a great feeling of the speed these birds are capable of going at on the downward dive ,and that eye ,Wow!
one of the great diving shot

love the pose and the comp. IQ top drawer as usual Jim.
I may suggest cropping just a tad from the left?
Awesome action Jim, the red spot on the beak is blood(?) visible fanned tailed is a plus. wish beak had not merged with part of the wing but that's very minor. TFS
Beautiful diving pose, very well handled, great action! Excellent Jim.
Superb pose and sharpness Jim. Excellent action. Well done.
Lovely look on the Merlin's face.
Wish the beak was a little more defined.
