I like the dark BG and how it makes the Heron stand out. I also like the ruffled feathers and sharpness.

I too like the sinister BKGR and also the SH. I only wish that the rocks did not hide the bird's footsies.

Gary well captured. The ruffled feathers create a different look for this bird. As Duane and Artie have noted the BG really makes this bird pop.
