The church top in foreground was from a church in Riviere Du Loup, leaves in background from Gatineau, Quebec with a zoom effect, eminating from center of cross...frame is more leaves with plastic wrap effect..I purposely left everything off-center. Had to include white border, just didn't look right without it, maybe I could have made it smaller?
Thanks for looking

The zoom effect is very eye-catching and a great idea! It is just the perfect amount of zoom so that the lines are there, but you can still tell that it is foliage. The church spire and red and green colors of the inside part give the image a holiday look. To my eye, the outside colors don't fit as well with the inside part of the image. Maybe it would fit better to me if the white border were smaller.

Great idea. I agree about the colors not quite fitting, though. Maybe a smaller border...maybe black instead of white. what fun to play with these things and see what happens. Love the zoom effect!!!!!!!

Paul, I think the zoom blur is nice and putting the church spire in front of that is a neat idea. I agree w/ Pattti and would use a smaller less colorful border on the outside so it doesn't appear so busy. Maybe a 14 pixel white and a 0.5 inch black combined. Does have a holiday feel.

Nice image and application. Agree with frame comments, but
Your image ... your vision.
You may want to do a minor rotation if you reprint it. It would be good to have either the vertical or horizontal plane level. There is distortion with the shooting of the steeple, but the cross can be adjusted to correct for one of them. Just my view of it.

Very nice perspective and effects, Paul. I like the colors, especially the band of red behind the cross. Agree the frame could use a little work. Well done!

love love love the central image Paul....dynamic zoom and cross element.
Have a possible alternative for the frame:
I marquee selected your central image, copied and then extended to outer edges.
Gaussian blur at 5 px and paste original back....added white strokes.
You could add any texture to the bg too
Now that is what I was looking for, great job, Dave..I tried a few different borders..but have to admit, I like your's the best.
I also staightened cross vertically, Thanks Mark
Thanks Everyone..Paul
