To give this black-eyed susan a vintage feel, I used four color fill layers, a channel mixer layer, an Orton effect, and a vignette. I also applied render clouds on a layer set to soft light and added some noise to give the image a bit of texture. Any C&C are welcome!

Love the final colors/tone; it does have a vintage feel. The background really adds to the image and doesn't distract from the flower. If it were mine, the only thing I would do is clone or healing brush on the larger brown spots on a couple of the petals.

Christopher, I love the softness and the composition. The vintage look along w/ the orton is lovely. I like the applied texture-very subtle and not overpowering. Well done. Would make a nice note card.

Great suggestion on making it into a note card! I've printed note cards of a number of my photos and sold them at the local farmers' market.
