I thought I'd check out some of my old cards to get some inspiration for whatever Randy and I will do this year. This one was from 2004, the first one we ever did. I liked the one on the left because Ranger is smiling :) , but Randy liked the one on the right because of the better composition. By the time we got the composition right, Ranger was getting a bit annoyed with the whole posing thing, but he was a trooper. If I ever do this again, I'll make sure the catalog is more visible. It's hard to tell that he's looking at dog beds.
PP: Left shot - removed sofa at the top (corrected in camera later) and darkened background. On both I vacuumed the carpet with the clone and healing brush tools, added the text and the frames.
