I spent the weekend on Chokoloskee Island and was able to get out on the water 2 days in a row. Unfortunately, the storms and constant cloud cover made it a very challenging weekend for photographing. But, with those challenges came some interesting opportunities. I liked the bird's location here with the sun rays and the omimous cloud cover. I was hoping for a wing spread from the bird, but so it goes with uncoorperative birds. :)

Connie, I like the silhouette of the bird and the ominous clouds along w/ the rays of light. They all combine to make an interesting image. I would like a bit more detail in the lower area of the perch. Very nicely done.

Hi Connie, I like the sun ray and the bird's position but would like to see more drama in the sky. Maybe some more contrast would help.

I agree with Denise - would try to bring up the shadows a bit on the perch. Might also dodge the sign a bit to put a small amount of brighter white beneath the darkness of the bird. Neat image and a great conversion.
