The rose just looked so soft and inviting. The newest member of our family fit just right. Disclosure: Hubby took photo of baby, but I set it up for him. :)
Steps:
1. Copied photo of baby and pasted over flower photo.
2. Added mask to baby layer and painted out what I didn't want.
3. Resized baby to fit in flower.
4. Lowered opacity of baby layer.
5. On background layer, selected area of background loosely around baby, inverted selection and applied Spatter filter.
6. Repeated #5 with a selection of background closer to baby, inverted selection and reran Spatter filter.
7. Changed the colors in the flower to pinky-purple.
