Hi Mark, Nice silhouette,texture and BG. For me I would prefer some room in front of the bird and would suggest a pano as opposed to a semi-vertical. This is just a suggestion.
Love the colors and treatment. The gold and black really make this look elegant. I agree about having more room in front of the bird, but I love the ripples behind, so I think pano might look nice.

While I understand your comments, to me the water ripples were the image, with or without the bird. Therefore, I didn't want to minimize them by adding to the right border. I did crop the RB area a little, due to the conflicting images there. Pano with added border, would also have decreased the impact, in my view. Just to advise of my vision at time of creation. Understand your comments and appreciate them.
This is a quick pano crop of the image. To me it is too tight and does not contain the same vision. Elements like the white curved line at the tail are unexplained and therefore distracting. But again, just my view.
Mark, Doing the pano crop w/o the added canvas in front of the bird is IMO a moot point.
