Hi Denise. Very nice conversion to B&W. It is a compositionally strong image with good detail in the whites. The black backround enhances the flower greatly. Well done!
I like the steely look and the light is great, but I do wish the flower was open in the middle. I might be tempted to get rid of the specks of light on the lily pad edge.
Very strong b&w Denise. The flower converted very nicely in this case. I like that there is a bit of shadow behind the center stamen - that really adds an extra touch of interest.
I think I might clone out those few little white specs on the edge of the pad as well. The rest is a beautiful presentation of a strong b&w image IMO.
Thanks folks-I will clone out the specs!!
Hey Denise,
I recognize this one!!!.....nicely done with the B&W conversion.....very nice choice! Specs mentioned......did you try it with the leaf only....slightly brighter? I don't mean much.....so it doesn't compete with the bloom.....just to bring out a touch of the texture there.
Very well composed!
Roman, I'll give it a try-thanks!
