500 4.0 L, Finally got one.

Since I always had at least the 1.4X on my 300 2.8, I ended up selling it and getting a 500 4.0, and have to say WOW, I will test it out tomorrow, but love it so far.

I will be using it on both the 1D and 1ds mark III, and also look forward to trying some video with the 5D II.

I went the other way, sort of. Bought the 500 a few years ago and bought the 300 f 2.8 about two years ago,
but kept the big guy. Both are great.

Well done on the lens, I got the 600 F4 and love it but a word of warning, Your camera will be permanently stuck to it :)
