I did a gradient tint and radial blur to this Dahlia image.
beautiful.....soft and delicate.
Especially like the bottom to top peach color.
Might add one of those fine black outlines.....2-4px maybe
Hi Denise, Soft colors with a pleasing subject. The blur works well along with the gradient tint.
beautiful colors with nice soft touch feel

Thanks guys. Dave-I'll do that -good idea.
Love the colors and the way the blur radials have depth to them. They appear (especially at the top) to have a 3D quality. Was that just they way it turned out or did you have to do something special to achieve it?
I also like Dave's idea of putting a thin border around it.
Hi Patti, I did a gradual radial blur by selecting the middle of the flower and lowering my zoom # each time.I feel it adds some additional levels of depth. Just select the part of the flower/subject w/ the most interest and then invert your selection and blur-then reselect a small center of interest and invert again and blur at a lower #-etc. Hope I explained it ok.
Beautiful image, Denise. Very nice job with the gradual blur. It does add to the depth and makes for a very pleasing image.
A pleasing and beautiful composition, Denise. Love the gradient color tint.
Cindy and Indranil, Thankyou both very much. I appreciate it.
