Shot this in France(I'm sure everyone could tell that) used Topaz Watercolor and modified from there.

the colors are wonderful and the process subtle but effective, yet I find
myself still viewing "just a boat" snap type image.....nothing seems to grab me.

Dave, The simplicity is what I like best about this photo and treatment. The basic colors and the treatment emphasize the simplicity of the fact that it is "just a boat" as Dave P mentions. That's what makes it work for me.

Nice shot with beautiful conversion , as Dave mentioned I dont find anything with can grab my attention
