this is a jaguar from the Caldwell Zoo in Tyler, TX....behind glass.
DAP'd with Illustroke aop, then a lot of photoshop reveal. The stroked bg
takes on a sort of jungle look IMO.

Dave, Another beautifully rendered image.Effective method of handling the backround with good use of color. I also like how you accentuated the lighting on the subject. Skillfull use of DAP!
Dave, One of the things I like about this is the BG does look like he is in the jungle. His eyes are perfectly rendered. He jumps off the page.Well done!! The lighting on his head is nice too.
Beautiful Dave! The DAP treatment you did really gives the image a sense of 3D, with the eyes positioned in the center plane. Nice color palette also. Really like this.

Dave, Beautiful work! I think you should sell or donate this artwork and the elephant one to that zoo. They could make a fortune putting them on T-shirts, brochures, etc. :)
