I've been taking time off to finish putting in a garden but it's was too hot today to work outside (I'm on vacation)
so I thought I'd try to work on an image for this week's theme. This started out as a wildflower. I started with
a polar to rectangular polar coordinates layer, then I don't know what happened from there:o I know I added a starburst filter effect which I'd just read about in a magazine. I know it looks weird - it kind of reminds me of a mystical city
(or a really wild Central Park with a bunch of Chrysler Buildings:eek: or maybe the heat has gotten to me!
Thanks for looking.

You should take more vacations and work on images like this.

great work

A very beautiful mystical city, Cheryl. I also like the diagonal line, and the great colors and light. I agree with Dave's thoughts about the dark corners. Thanks for sharing the original. Great work.

Wow, I am really impressed and astounded that the "Mystical City" was derived from that simple brown-eyed susan...very, very nice.
