The original was fairly colorful, so I thought it would be interesting to see how it looked a as B&W. Converted, then continued to dodge the background. I used some Topaz Adjust filters then added the sandstone texture. I would like a little more canvas on the left, but I didn't take the time to add it yet. All comments welcome.

Hi Cindy, I was going to suggest the room on the left also. Love what you did with this. The tonality and texture make this special. I like the subjects pose and his interesting clothing. Good conversion and wonderfully handled!!
