I took this photo of a cedar waxwing earlier this summer. I did some curves adjustments to make it high-key, converted to B&W, and then applied a colored pencil filter to give it a sketch look. Any C&C are welcome!

Great sketch, Christopher. Good use of the colored pencil filter for this HK. I like the composition and the diagonal perch. I might wish for just a little more definition for the outline of the waxwing on the upper right.
Hi Christopher, Agree with Cindy's comments and if this were mine I would take a bit off the top and left.
Thanks Cindy and Dave. Here's a repost modified as suggested. Let me know what you think!
Hi Christopher,IMO definate improvement...I like it!

Hi Christopher, this is very impressive! I like the repost.
Nice job with the repost, Christopher.
Hi Christopher, nice image and application. I like the effect.
I would suggest another possible crop option for your consideration. Cropping to the top of the branch in the LLC would improve the eye flow. Also cropping the right side would bring the image out of the current center position and into the 1/3 ROT position.
Just another option.
Your image ... your vision.
Mark nailed my thoughts re: crop exactly. Would look awesome even tighter IMHO :) Looks great as is though.
Thanks everyone! Appreciate the crop suggestion, Mark. I'll give it a try.
