In our garden, we have some Jerusalem artichokes, which have these yellow, daisy-like flowers. High-key was a natural choice for this flower since the sky behind it was cloudy. I added a slight orton effect in PS. Any C&C are welcome!

Christopher, This I love!! The BG, comp. and colors all come together nicely! I might evict the 2 tiny spots.Well done.
Very nice effect. I love it!
Great perspective...not the ususal from-the-top shot. The little leave (?) on the stem adds a softness that keeps it from being too straight.
I like the soft, muted mood of this, Christopher, as well as the unusual perspective.
Hi Christopher,Compositionally balanced with a pleasing softness. Subject on a diagonal and good detail in the petals. Nicely executed!!
Christopher, nicely done! Agree with Denise about the 2 spots but it's a very pleasing image.

Hey Christopher.......besides the easy spot clean up.....very nicely done!!!
Well done Chris. Sometimes the rear view of a flower is as nice as the front. :) This is a great example.
Very nice Christopher, I think a thin black frame would set if off nicely too.
Jackie, I had tried adding a black frame, but it seemed to detract from the soft colors of the flower. Come to think of it though, I might try adding a different color frame, maybe a light green.
