This is one of the many Owls that live in the grounds of Florida Atlantic University. This particular one caught my attention because he was actually looking at me with an attitude...imagine that...:eek::D The original was posted in the ETL forum early this year. The base image was modified by applying a sandstone oil canvas texture, and finished with an ink brush layer...:cool:

Great filter Gus. What plug-in did you use to achieve the effect? I like the attitude, it reeks attitude. These little fellows are so endearing. One of my 'must see before I die' birds. If the image were mine I would crop both left and right, I have a hard time liking square crops. Perhaps time to step outside the square I live in?

Very nice work on this, Gus. I like the effects, as well as the attitude. I did a double-take at first, because I have a very similar one of a burrowing owl from Cape Coral. You would have thought we were almost at the same place at the same time! I think yours has a little more 'tude, though.
