Bill, in photography rules are made to be broken! :D Personally I think this is very effective. All the textures, the bird's pose, and most of all the camouflaged effect make for a very interesting photo. Only changes I would make would be to remove the two straight lines and the bit of orange in the BG.

Bill, I like it a lot. I agree about the orange and 2 straight lines (I always notice those things on my images
after I've posted them:D) I like the capture in his natural habitat.
