Looks like a Western Theme to me! Love the horse and the action captured. Your wife looks very focused!! I like the Tiffen filter.
Thank you. The sad part is that it appears the horse is suffering from terminal liver failure as we just found out this past week. Nothing can be done. She is devastated. Buddy (horse) has been her best friend for three and a half years and we are seeing him slowly wither away. Yes, I am somewhere down at the bottom of the pecking order past the horse, dogs and cats. :D She stopped riding last week when the blood test concluded the liver enzymes were almost at four times the level they should normally be. :(
Akos, I'm so sorry to hear that. You both must be so terribly sad. My thoughts are with you all.
Sad to hear Akos, i heard a program on bereavement and it said to focus on the good memories. A little heard to do at the moment, but good advice for down the road. Your wife looks like a vey good rider.
Thanks heaps for the kind thoughts friends. :) She is getting pretty good now. Just now. It takes years to get the harmony with your horse. He, being an ex racer, was very flighty and unpredictable. That was the first horse she owned and taught her to ride. She came off pretty bad in January and I thought she may have fractured her lower spine. It was that bad. Lucky just some bad bruising and contusions around the lumbar area. Though the horse is gentle to handle, but ride?
Yes, lots of wonderful memories. He is not gone yet, and they say as long as one is remembered they are not dead. So the memories will always live strong! :)
Beautiful horse! Saddened to hear of it's illness and hope it doesn't suffer. Very difficult to say goodbye...
Sorry to hear of your plight, Ákos. It is aways hard when a "family member" is lost. Whether it be a human or animal that we love. They are all part of the family afterall.
Love the tones and back-lighting in this. So sorry to hear about the horse's illness. My heart goes out to you both.
Akos, Lovely tones, excellent timing. Sad to hear about your pet. :(
Akos, I'm just catching up on everyone's work this week and I'm so sorry about Buddy. They become so much a part of your life and it is so very hard to lose them. But you're right - he will always live in your hearts.
Take care,
Cheryl
Hi Akos,
I like the capture and filter applied...I'm so sorry to hear about Buddy...my prayers with you...:(
