Some little spots may look a tad bright but this looks beautiful ! Wherever that is, it looks like a good scene for b&w photo, IMO.

Love the shadows on the back of the formation, Dave. Lots to look at here and it all flows perfectly. Excellent conversion - all the tones feel very real and natural and the added texture from the rocks pushes it over the top for me.
very cool. Looks like southern Utah / Northern Az..... I'd boost contrast a bit on this....
