Egret reflection

I don't really think I have any western themes, unless you consider horses that? But dressage? :D

So I reflect upon having had no chance to enter more last week. Here is a Great Egret I added the flood effect to.

Hi Akos, Nicely colored ,muted backround with an interesting subject.Good job with the flood effect but I would have preferred to see the whole reflection. If you look carefully around the top half of the image I noticed a number of cloning artifacts. Not hard to clean up...

I realized that after I posted it. The clone marks. This was an effort made a long time ago. Must do a total rework of the file. :)

love the underwing light....being this is ootb, one might bring the wingtip and reflection to almost meet

Akos, I agree with above comments and think Dave's suggestion w/ the wingtip sounds great!! Nicely done.

Great capture of the egret with an unusual wing position, Akos. It lends itself to the flood effect. Dave's suggestion sounds like an interesting one.

I only reworked the jpeg and selected BG with magic wand and used a gaussian blur. Then flooded as per Dave's suggestion and cropped so it is not symmetrically framed. I know the bird has a slight halo, but that is due to the selection and blurring.
