Theme: Cowboy-up/ Mother with Young

I took this image in Yellowstone and that is out West for me so it qualifies for the theme!!:)
I added an Orton effect and find edges. I also cropped it.

Composition-wise I like it lots. Well framed and very cool effect Denise. I feel the gray rock to the left of mom is a little distracting, for me at least.
What species is it? Sorry, it helps a dummy like me as I have no clue of most things that live your way.

Hi Denise. I like the composition and Orton effect used here. As Dave suggested, a little vignetting might be really nice.

I like the orton effect Denise! I think cropping a little tighter or vignetting would improve this. Also, the rock is drawing my eye away from the critters, as is the light colored twig above the cow.
