someone brought one of these into my office. I had to take a picture. Placed him on a glossy white card stock brochure and shot him with the G10 hh with flash
processed in CS 4; evenly blew out background and added some vibrance on the spider and this is the result.

A lower angle might have helped, but you get what you got! ;) :D
You did get eye contact ... I think.

Hi Michael...Like the HK effect and the reddish brown color of the spider.Everything is sharp and placed at a good angle...

Like the high-key look of this, Michael. Great details and eye contact on the spider. Just two suggestions: I notice a little grey on the edge of the frame in the lower left corner that I would remove, and I would position the spider a little closer to the top left corner. Very nice image!
