One of the many village lanes I saw in France. Used Nik Tonal Contrast to get the effect.

Very beautiful, Dave, I'm sure you exceeded your memory allotment in that trip. France is so pretty :)
Nice use of filter.
Dave, another beautiful image. I feel like I'm there (wish I was:)).

Dave, thanks for taking us with you on that wonderful journey of yours. This image is stunning. I love those colors, the sweet, little town atmosphere I sense just by looking. You know how to convey these feelings perfectly. :)
sweet little area Dave....an even wider angle would have been nice also, IMO
Lovely colors, mood, and light but the image bugs me. I want more of the buildings and less of the road.... No can do, I know.... Maybe DP's idea is a good one.... Wider would yield more buldings (and sky which I also want) and less road.... Do you have anything wider?
Pretty neat village lane! Love those walls and the creepers and those hanging flowers. Yearning for more of these!!
Hi Art and Dave, Yes I originally shot the image wider. The buildings on the left turned into an ugly garage and on the right was a network of wires and pipes. Figured I would crop it down where it was most appealing.
Very pastoral, and I love the colours. Looks like a lovely place to spend some time. Like what Tonal Contrast has done to the image too.
