THEME: Summertime - doggie in surf

This is my boy Biscuit enjoying the beach in summer. In my upside down world summer is from Dec-Feb and this was in March I think. But SE Australia's weather is incredible. Even though it is the middle of winter, the odd frosty morning can still end up in beach weather of around 20+ degrees Centigrade. Sorry, I only know that 0 C is 32 F.

Biscuit loves the beach.

I cropped about 30% and ran topaz clean through about four times to get my desired effect. Well, I have no clue what I am doing, just tweak the sliders and click OK. :D

Akos, I love the summertime feel to this!! I think the treatment is fantastic! The water color is lovely and the sand looks awesome!!!

Akos, I like this effect very much and the diagonal placement of the dog. The action is good with the bits flying around. I would only wish for a bit more detail on the front of the dogs face otherwise well structured...

Thanks friends for the feedback. :) I was thinking whether to bring out details in the face or not. Perhaps should have. :(

This is the flipped dog's brother. This is the king, he is very dominant. I would HATE to be the burglar with this dog. :D

It's funny how the Topaz filters treat different things. I like the effect on the dog but not the sand as much. I've also had to work around the halos that it creates but I don't usually notice them until I look more closely. The filters certainly have a lot of potential and I like what I see in this image.

Biscuit looks like he's having lots of fun!!! Nice use of filter.

Hi Akos. Just a tip on the Topaz Clean2 filter. There is the distinct possibility that you will get "halos" when using this filter, depending on how well defined an edge is. If it is a sharp edge, not too much of a problem. Otherwise, I use a small "history brush" to remove them. regards~Bill

Ákos, does that make him "Sea Biscuit"? :D I like the image and the playfulness! No need to "know what you are doing", just don't say so! :eek: These plugins are all about experimenting to find what you like, and that is the whole idea for me.

He was named after Seabiscuit. And he is one of my favorite horses (stories) of all time! What a life and how successful! I loved the movie and the book. :)
