I am considering buying this unit. does anyone have experience with it? Is it good enough to scan old Ektachrome slides to preserve them in the digital world? I know Nikon scanners are the gold standard, but the price is much higher.

Hi Ed My scans are ready and should be shipped back to me soon, will report on quality !! Might be an option !!!
Al, let us know the where, quality and price per scan. I have a CoolScan, but would consider it for some images if the quality is up to your standards. Know that would satisfy mine! ;)Quote:
