Cormorant at Viera Wetlands in Florida welcomes the morning sunrise.

I know some won't like the bird facing away but this is just what these Cormorant do each morning, look at the sun, preen, wing-flap, etc. As long as the bird can be seen by the viewer as looking at something I think it can work.

Very nice silhouette image. I do not mind the bird facing away at all here as we cannot see its eyes anyway. The pose and framing is very good. :)

I love this one Robert, esp. the gradation of the colors in the sky from yellow to white. I would love to see just a bit more head turn.
later and love, artie

Nice shot Robert. Like the colors fading into the white. Not sure about the 'pano'-like image ratio.

Refreshing composition, Robert.
Also wish for the head to be turned a bit to see more of it.
Congrats!

If his head was a little more to the right, it would have sent this right over the top! Outstanding as is though...

Robert, great composition (yeah, I agree a bit more head turn would help but the rest of the pose is terrific), great light/color fade and perfect looking away since that's right into the sun. How else would this guy be welcoming morning??
