Gitzo ?
This morning I broke one of the pieces on my Gitzo 5541L that keeps the legs upright or splayed out. Has anyone ever romoved that piece to replace without taking off the leg? The last time I removed the leg I could not get it back on with all the correct washers in place.
From previous experience with Bogen I feel they would charge me an arm and a leg to repair.
The problem is fitting a wrench in to reach the bolt.

Never mind. After trying for about 20 minutes, my only choice would be to remove the leg. I called Bogen. I feel it should be covered by warranty, but if not,, only about $50. Sent by UPS around 4:30.
