this is a young ring billed gull. Image created with a partial selection of the gull,
motion blur then a radial blur which follows the natural shape of the right wing.
Thanks for looking in and c/c

WOW! THis is really effective Dave. To me it looks as if it were shooting out of a cloud. Love the way you blurred in line with that wing. Thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend too.
This is excellent, Dave. I like the way you used the radial blur. There a subtle ethereal quality and beauty in this image. Having a bit more of the bird would be nice IMO. But I like it as it is.
Dave, It does have a subtle ethereal quality to it as Indranil pointed out. I like the details left in the image and think you did a great job conveying fast motion. I think it's a wall hanger!!-I like it alot! Well done.
thanks friends.....here is an alternate radial/reveal that I think may be more effective
Dave, I think I like the original more, but this is also very pleasing!!! So many different options!
Like the original too Dave. Great PP work and a well executed picture. Love the gray and brown tones in it.
Well done.
Hey Dave,
Another vote for the original......like he just went supersonic!!! If you use the title "Supersonic Gull"......you owe me a beer! Nicely done.
PS.....I see you are using the sharp ones for avian blurs!!! Will try that! I have to get my scanner working......have 1 I like in camera!
Dave, I like the original better also. It is a lovely image:) I hope everyone is having a beautiful weekend!
