This was an in-camera zoom blur of roadside flowers. Since it reminded me of the 4th and fireworks I figured it
belonged here.:)
Thanks for looking:D

HI Cheryl
I like this very much. THanks for sharing.
So with ZB, do you start at 100mm and zoom into 400 using the slow shutter speed?
Akos, I'm a beginner on blurs - I had read Artie's chapter on blurs and went out and tried them - this was one of my
first attempts. I tried it both ways but I think it works better to start at 400 and zoom in:D They're fun! If you go
back about a month or two they were doing blurs on ETL - it was the week I discovered the website serendipitously
since I had just been experimenting with blurs:) It's really neat if you can get the center in focus but so far I haven't achieved that. There really wasn't a focal point on this blur so I'm kind of off the hook;)

very good technique Cheryl......blurs are new to me too.
I have so many images that I am working out of camera pp blurs this round.
Too hot outside lately!!
Cheryl, Very nice zoom blur especially for in-camera, The colors are very nice and there is just the right amount of blur IMO. Nicely done! Looking forward to more.
Akos, As Cheryl said with blurs you have to really experiment and know that the keeper rate is very low. Alfred says color is an important factor for blurs, and this one has it!!! Here is a link to one of his zoom blurs he took of Fabs!!!

Thanks Cheryl for getting back to me. :)
I read that chapter too, but forgot. :o I guess this is creative and I have been too purist in my approach all along, hence why I love the OOTB forums. You guys and gals really give me the burst of freshness I need all around.
Thanks Denise. We posted at the same time. :D Great minds.... well yours at least, I am faking well though. :D
Well done Lady Cheryl,
I like this very much...the burst of yellows is coming from the center of the frame...this looks like warp speed...congrats...
Cheryl
Very nicely done. I tried this type of blur years ago and gave up out of frustration. I'm not that coordinated and never could get it done smoothly and hit the shutter. It looks like you have it pretty well under control.
That is an excellent zomm/blur, Cheryl. Love those colors.
Nice blur Cheryl, the yellow really pops out. I too have tried to get the center in focus. But no luck so far. Might take some off the right and put the blur radiating from dead-center.
