A dhole (cuon alpinus) shakes herself and gets ready for the hunt in Nagarhole National Park, India. She had left her pack along with a male to start a pack of her own. Unfortunately the male got injured. So the hunting responsibility rests on its shoulders. It needed to warm up quickly.
Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/100, full frame, bushhawk.

Thanks for the comments. There are a few dark patches in the background. May be the image would have been better without that. I am experimenting. I still don't know what would have improved this image.
