Wonder if Jean Camille ever saw a bullfrog?
This was a fun transformation.....exported from DAP as a psd.
Oversaturated base image a bit and then left painted layer "normal" at about 75-80%
Saturating the underlayer seems to add some punch in a different way than just
saturating the painted layer.

Dave, Now this one I LOVE!! Very well done!! The details are great but the image still retains a painted look!! The colors are great!!

Dave, Camille probably enjoyed bullfrogs for dinner! This is really well done. I like the eyes and log in the fg
being a little more natural than the rest-it seems to draw your focus in. My task is getting more difficult every day:D

A wonderful image. I really like the digital creation even better than the original. I think digital photo art is as much about deciding what image will work best with what filter/manipulation. And that you have down pretty darn good. Well done.

Hi Guys, You are all having way too much fun here. And so much talent. This one is killer. Can someone fill me in on the basics of how an image like this is created??? What is DAP??? What is a painted layer???

Is there a tutorial on this technique? (Sorry to be late to the party with so many questions....)

DAP is Dynamic Auto Painter....the week's theme is to mimick famous painters.
Once an image is run through DAP, it is exported as a psd into photoshop or any editor.
Then you can control the layer blending/masking etc for desired effect.

don't remember trial.....but if your ethics permit, just add a few inches of canvas
to the bottom and you're good to go. You'll see, but this program is worth way more
than the asking $$

I am always good to go when it comes to adding canvas.
