This image was created with the Nikon D300 and 200-400 vr lens. In the original photo the two swallows have built a nest inside the muffler of a bull dozer and that's where they are standing at the time of this photo. I knew when I took it what I need to do, and as soon as I got a good one I simple walked over to a fence post and photographed it in the same light and placed the swallows on top of the fence post. Rod, Very nice Photoshop work and a lovely image!! The open mouths are great. In a perfect world the bird on the right would have a better HA -but I think this is a fantastic piece!! Beautiful details in the raised wing. If it were mine I'd fix the left side of the post at the base and by the birds tail (very, very small areas but if you print it might show up) Might take a sliver off the top. Overall Excellent job!!
