EP-1 First Impressions

Had a chance to play with the Olympus EP-1 at the PMA show in sydney over the weekend.

Does look like a breakthough camera - lots annd lots of intrest.

First thing I noticed when I picked it up - was the plasticky feel to it - the looks certanly dont match the feel.
Looks like a SLR - Feels like a cheap compact.
Looks to be fairly fast - a little lag nothing outrageous - Manual controls are fairly easy to use.
Version 1.0 Firmware.

Expensive here at least $1399 with the single lens and $1799 with the twin lens. ETA - Limited Early July.

$1399 for a plastickly feel doesn't sound impressive.
