Indranil, This is definitely a different look at El Capitan. The clouds hovering over the giant granite monolith is very interesting. I'm seeing a perspective issue, the trees on both sides are bending inward. Here is a link to an excellent tutorial by David Thomasson. If you would like to try it.

Overall I like the image and color rendition very much!! I also like the 2 large trees-they remind me of the park! Nicely done.

Indranil, I think David's tutorial is worth a read from all!!! Nice re-post!!! I'd lose that lone branch as it's not connected to anything in the scene now.

This looks so good in large size. The thumbnail was OK, but this was super. I love the cloud covering the rockface. The removal of the lone branch sealed this as a great image.
I will read that tutorial eventually. :)

Very impressive cloud cover and good repost too. I wish you had moved the camera to the right, to be able to keep the trees in the picture, but clear of the mountain.

Thanks Fabs. Those clouds just moved away in matter of minutes. I did get to take few more shots moving further to the right but they were not as dramatic as this one.
