Hi Tony. I don't own the app, but I think it has one fundamental problem. You need to connect your camera to a laptop in order for the iPhone app to work. I think you can do most of this stuff using the bundled Canon software from your laptop, which has to be connected to the camera anyhow. If they came out with an iPhone app that didn't require a laptop, I'd purchase that in a heartbeat!
.... and wireless ..... would be sweet :)
If it were like the Zip Car app with which you can unlock the car with the iPhone as remote control it would be great.

Got my 3G S yesterday; couldn't help myself! Much faster than the 3G at app loading and web browsing. iBird Pro loads in 2.8 sec instead of 6.8 sec on my 3G. Voice control is nice.
I paid $300 and yes it does render pages faster.
