This image was made from a little used trail wrapping around from the Sand Beach Parking area to the Schooner Head side of Great Head. Instead of looking back at the pond and the Beehive from Sand Beach, I was looking forward at the pond with Sand Beach and the ocean in the background.

Color IR is perfect here to give you a wintery look.
Ed, It does have a wintry look. The colors to me are fantastic! I think the composition is nice also. I might remove the bird? at the bottom as there isn't enough detail and not really sure what it is. I like it alot!!
Hey Ed... IMO you have a winner with this one. I like the layering within the image and it does give a snow effect. Minor nit ..I agree with Denise about the bird...At first I thought it was a small stump.
Appreciate the feedback, folks. Just for the record, the object in the water is a stump and not a bird.
Great 'winter' mood, I like the composition and would probably evict the stump.
Beautiful colors Ed but I think it's the angle/view that really excites me. Your eyes start moving and just keep going...excellent!
Great image Ed. I've been watching your IR posts since you first converted the Rebel. IMHO each image has gotten better and better. I think this is your best to date. Keep em coming !
I like this, and I never bothered to look at IR images. Not for lack of interest, just never made the time. From now on, I will! :D
