iBird Explorer is very cool. There's also a free DOF chart.

I use the iBird Explorer Plus and find it to be invaluable.
BirdJam is another program that works on these devices.
I have found iBird Explorer to be invaluable. It has pretty much replaced my field guides.
Another app that is pretty popular is Camera Bag, it has a bunch of effects you can apply on images taken from your iphone.
I occasionally use PhotoJot to mark interesting locations and take notes of places I may want to revisit.

You can do some photo work on the iPhone ... try Photogene, Color Splash or 101 Filters ... sort of cool. Nothing like PS CS3/4 but it's a phone and it's fun.
iBeer is not bad :) ... there are so many Rocky Just surf the Apple page and enjoy the sensory overload !!!
