Stuart:
Very nice pinkie, with good exposure, interesting pose.
The head is turned away a bit. In a perfect world, I would like more space below and to the left.
I am not sure what is going on in the upper right hand corner. Although it is interesting, and it would be amazing if it were a natural cloud formation in that shape, I rather doubt it. The repeating pattern and horizontal line at top seems unnatural.
By all means, let us know some more details of that area, what post work you did, etc.
I always appreciate a little more of your observations and thought processes that went into the making of the image.
Thanks!
Randy
Pose, details, light and exposure control look great. I would give the bird more room and would work on the upper right. It looks like clone patterns. I would also remove the yellowish spot at the top.
Hi Stuart,
I have to agree with Axel. The clone patterns are too obvious.
Pose in general looks great IMO, except for maybe a little better head angle, but detail, exposure and sharpness are great, square crop IMHO doesn't work well and I agree that the BG needs some more work.
Congratulaitons!
I would really love to see a jpeg of the original RAW file to compare. I like the pose, beautiful bird too. Looks a bit toght for me on the left. You could do a killer digital patch job on that URC. :)
