I remember my time in Lore Lindu National Park, Sulawesi, Indonesia when I climbed on the Anaso trail with a LowePro backpack and my Canon 600mm lens inside. The bag was way too small for the lens but still the balance of the pack was incredibly nice and I felt any pain by the pack (but by the steepness and the length of the trail :D ). Now when a new time coming in my photography and I work hard to get the new Nikon 600mm I want to get the best possible backpack which really holds the 600mm VR lens with hood and other stuff.
I was looking for the Lowepro Photo Trekker AW II backpack which is told to hold the 600mm lens. Any experience on it? How stable and balanced on the back especially on long trekking? Is it confortable?
It should hold the following gear:
Nikon D3x body
Nikon D700 body
Nikon D400(?) body
14-24 f2.8 lens
24-70 f2.8 lens
600 f4 VR lens
SB-900 flash
I guess the 200-400 cannot be placed in the same pack if I want to store all those together.
Any comments and recommendation is highly appreciated.
