Mike:
A well timed image. I am curious how they manage to pry open the shell?
Nice color, exposure and low angle of view.
A foot to your left or some might have improved the angle on the head slightly, but there was still going to be a bit of angle away from you because of the plane of the shell in relationship to the bird. This is a pretty small point of course.
I do appreciate the images that tell us something about the life of the critter featured!
Thanks

Great angle, details and exposure control. I also like the captured moment. I might tone down the legs and remove the oval spot underneath the legs near the frame.

Excellent low angle Mike, and well done on capturing him eating his food. I like the light and colours in this too. Great image.

Mike you've captured some nice details in the dark feathers and you've got a great low angle going.

Good point of view and good detail except that isn't an oyster. :D
Just kidding there.
As someone else said it might be good to bring the brightness of the leg down.

Super exposure to gather detail on the dark areas. Good low angle and colours!
