You've actually got a Mountain Bluebird here Kim, a very nice capture despite the bright lighting conditions.

The subject stands out really well on this colourful BG. So, what is it ?
On the whole image, I can see a grainy texture...not really noise but something unusual.
Sharp. Loverly BKGR. Too bright and see the Head Angle Police thread in Educational Resources.
I am OK with the BLUE sat but would love to see it denser.
I would maybe crop a little off the top and bottom. Image does seem noisy but this still is a pleasing image!

Thanks to you all for your critiques.
Here is a repost with some NR. Saturated a bit of bird.I reduced saturation of the peach color too. That color came somehow from the way the sun was coming up that morning, reduction of saturation of it presents problems as the field behind the bird is actually dried meadow grass and thousands of cow pies. As saturation is taken down dark spots (cow pies) show through. Selective final sharpening.

I like the colours in this, and although I dont know the species, the blue looks fine to me. Your repost is much better with regards to the NR, and I would him down a bit more. Still, well captured.
