Taken at a small water spot in the grounds of the University of Pretoria. I find Egyptian geese to be very active, and it is possible to capture all sorts of postures. Here is one coming into land.

Its fun to work the geese and ducks. They really give it up for us.
This is nicely captured, sharp, well exposed, good pose, head angle.
In a perfect world, I might wish the background to be a bit more uniform, either all green, or light, but since we don't live in that particular place, we take what we get!
Thanks for sharing.

Cool landing pose and details. I might put the bird a bit further to the left in the frame.

I like this very much as presented . Wonderful timing and great action captured in this image as well as a very pleasing BG that shows a lot of interest in the varying shades of color and the lovely light. IMO it gives the image another degree of interest. Also like the wing position and eye contact. Congratulations on a lovely image.

Ditto the above but I disagree with Randy (for the most part) about the BKGR. I love that the bird is framed by the darker green areas (though I wish that the head were set totally against the water. The green makes a loverly frame.

Ditto Artie well done. I'm feeling that you can maybe saturate this a bit more. Great shot mate well done

Nice one Stu! I like the bg but would maybe move the bird a tad to the left.
Well done!
