Rod:
One of the best wild hairdo displays I have seen on this bird! Great head position, exposure control, detail in the blacks and background (in general) I might try to darken several of the really bright highlights in the background. Sharp, with fine eye!
A real beauty!
Randy
Very nice.
This is a bird I saw for the first time in Florida over the holidays. I did not see all the head plumage then so I find this picture very interesting with the detail it shows.
One of the best I've seen ina while Rod !!!! Love those head feathers !!!! Big Congrats !!!
WOW! now that guy has some head feathers! very nice, rod. looks like a punk rocker!!!
Wow, that is a hairdo and a half! ROFL. Nice and sharp. I agree about some of those bright highlights; a bit destracting.
What a "do" you captured here. You got some nice DOF and did a good job exposing the blacks. The green highlight to the left would be the one I'd most likely clean up to render your subject more powerful.
Pin sharp, with brilliant detail and colours around the head. The blacks are well exposed, and I would also darken or clone in those light spots in the BG. Still, a fantastic image Rod.
Looks like it has one foot in the electric outlet. Agree on background comments above
