LETS SEE YOU TWIST IT UP!!

Some of you tried the basic swirl-now lets add a layer to that and make it more interesting-

First start with a base image -this one was of dune grass at the beach
Then radial zoom blur 100% do that twice
Then duplicate the layer
Then add a twirl thru distort>twirl you decide how much -experiment. I did approx 125
Then choose other layer and do the same but twirl in a diff. direction
Then use the layer mode to blend-I chose lighten,but sometimes will use diff. ones(just try out all of them to see which one works best with your colors)
Should be ready to crop-You can always do alot more to the image with the filters etc. -this is just the basics

Another fun one. Thanks Denise! Used two different images and opened them by going to file/scripts/load in stack/use open files. Colours were very pastel but used difference as a blending mode. Cropped to look off-center.

Jackie, Very cool- I love using that load in stacks it's so quick and convenient-The difference blend really snapped up the colors-I used that for my holiday heart twist that I posted in this forum awhile ago. I sold quite a few of them as Christmas cards-Thanks to Julie and Alfred for the push to print!

Denise, I like the soft colors in your swirl-the knot look three dimensional -I can see the colors of the beach.
